Hey everyone,
A few months back I was climbing around in my truck and accidentally put too much weight/pressure on the folding headrest, causing it to snap/pop. The headrest is now pretty loose. I'm wondering if anyone has encountered this issue before, and potentially help me understand how I need to fix it?

The arrows in the picture below (not my pic, found it online) are pointing to where I think the "break" happened.
Thanks in advance!

You should be able to peel back the seat covering to get a better look.
Maybe a clip or retainer popped out and can be snapped back in once you get inside there.

If not...
You might be able to snag whatever broke from a salvage yard. If it is not something modular that can be popped out/unscrewed or unbolted, maybe need the seat frame for the back or the folding frame for the entire seat.

Post photos, if you can get in there.

There are a lot of YouTube videos on removing/replacing seat covers. I've never done it, but looks like GM made our seat covers pretty easy to unclip and put back on.
Some of the videos that might show that process include: seat cushion replacement, and install videos from companies selling replacement covers.
