welll, when i drive and brake, its fine. but when i let off, its like a surge or deep tone squeal.
I'll try to record the sound tomorrow when i get a chance.
has this happened to anybody before?

I have a 99 Yukon.

the dealer i bought it from said they were new. but idk.
can old pads/rotors make surging noises?

may wanna get a buddy to see where the noise is coming from, front or back, before you start dismantling things. sometimes my rear brakes feel like they release like a half second or so behind my front brakes. it's not affecting my braking or anything, but sometimes it's a bother. anyhow, i'd try to see that it's not a particular brake making the noise. fyremanpat may be right, but i'd try to make sure it's not the master cylinder before i started dismantling everything. also, if it's not affecting your braking, and it's just a bother, i'd roll with it until it became a problem before i fixed it. just my 2 cents.
