I'm about to have my brakes done and am going to have 285/75/16 tires installed, should I also purchase a nbs master cylinder because of the larger tire? If so what year master cylinder? My truck is a 98 2dr Tahoe.

I have the truck and the tire size is 265/75/16 and using stock master cylinder no problem until it failed now I am replacing it to another remanufactured.

I don't think we could gain more stopping power out of the 2001 later master cylinder as I understand from the long thread it only provide the feeling not the actual stopping power.

So a 2001 master cylinder from a nbs will fit my 98 without any modifications?
