My wife and I have been looking for a while now, and got serious about it about a week ago when we listed her car for sale. She's wanted a Tahoe as long as I've known her, and originally we were looking at '07+. Yesterday I asked if she wanted to look at a loaded white '06 which was about $10,000 less than similar '07's that we've seen.

Long story short, we looked it over, test drove it, made an offer, and brought it home last night. I originally thought the interior of the '07+ was better, but after looking at a few I wasn't impressed. For the money I'm very happy with this truck. It does have a black powder-coated Westin grille guard which I'm going to remove this weekend. I'll probably try to sell it on Craigslist or ask a buddy of mine if he wants it for his '06 Suburban.

The car has 58,000 miles but the mileage doesn't concern me. I've owned several 4th gen Camaros/Trans Ams so I know my way around GM vehicles pretty well.

welcome. Youll be more than happy with this forum. and one quick note.... dont be so quick to rip those fender flares off. Not a lot of people have them but I think they look good but just not worth spending money to buy them and install them. but since they are there, leave em.

You got your man card back. Welcome man. Tahoe looks awesome.

:laughing1:

Well, technically it's the wife's Tahoe. Here are a few of our old cars, before kids.
