Its getting there. I mean doesnt have to happen right now, so considering we are at almost 15 already, in just a couple weeks, i see this hapening.

The only bad part is, this is just interest, no a set thing, so hopefully once this gets going, people put in the deposit so it does happen.

Do you already have a BB tune or would you be a first time tune? I ask because if you already have one, then retunes should be free for you!! If you haven't, then pm Mike (Tahoewhat) and he will get you on the list!!

As rivieraracing said, are you in need of a tune or are you tuned already and need a re-tune. Either way is great. Just need to put it down on my end.

Haven been on in awhile, been real busy taking care of things, but i updated list w/ new people and going to email haley and see whats up on a date. Im sure there are some more folks that would like to tune thier tahoe or truck. makes a great improvment, really helps w/ shifting points.

It has come to my attention that on the BB site, under calender of events there is a SUMMER 2011 UPCOMING MEET. Need 13 deposits and im sure it will happen.

Here it is copied from thier site. I have pmed jenna about this, b/c i was unaware of this..


Summer 2011, Houston, TX

Cost: $50 deposit for time slot, $200 at time of tune (total $250); $20 surcharge for credit card
Total Deposits Needed: 13

Also take note, retunes do not count towards the minimum number of people required. He can most likely do tune updates but the minimum number of deposits needs to be sent in first.

thanks scott. Not sure if i mentioned that, i know i did i think on another forum that has the two retunes, so if your retuning get in touch w/ jenna or haley first before you send in payment. new tunes get your deposit sent in. But only 13 people are needed for a tune according to the BB site, and we have at least 16 w/ out retunes, so long as all send in deposits we are good to go.

I was in Houston this past weekend and saw plenty of yukons and tahoes on custom wheels. There should be no problem getting the 13 needed. Now granted not sure if any of them are members on here, just knowing how big Houston is surely this meet will be a go. I'm getting excited waiting for mine next weekend.

Alright guys, i was wrong.

Do not send in anything as of yet. I have heard back from jenna and haley. They say to wait until a date is set, then haley will make a thread for deposits and that is when you need to send in your deposits. Not now. Sorry, a little mis-communication. A date is expected next week. So i will keep you informed.

FYI: I'm going to need a whole new tune. I've already put on the K&N FIPK and a Magnaflow muffler swap. The truck sounds like a beast, but the transmission is definitely holding it back from its full potential. Let me know what dates y'all are thinking about doing it. I've got a busy travel schedule this summer and want to make sure I can get the truck to the meet.

x2, Do you need a Re-tune? Either way they can do a tune for you, just wondering which way you are wanting one.
