battery cable ?

so I'm curious. iv repaired battery cables before but i want to make a custom set for both my vehicles. is the attached link good for the battery to starter, battery to fuse block and alternator to fuse cables?

That looks like 4 gauge wire, which is good up to about 125 amps, probably less than you alternator's max amp output. While this 'should' be OK, I suggest that you look into 0 gauge wire which is good up to 300 amps.

i can snag 0 awg. i also see welding cable that says both battery and welding cable. same thing or different?

I like welding cable. Super flexible! I also like soldered lugs like they use in the marine industry.
