Back-up nav disc

Hey gang what's the disadvantage of using a backup nav disc instead of the original? I have a 06 Denali and the dealership today told me it was about $250 . He actually had one that had arrived for a customer that ordered it Version 7.2. Now I saw the same part number on craiglist (back-up disc) for $60. Should i buy? I have version 3.0 in my trk so outdated

back up disc = burned copy

I updated from the original 2.0 "OEM" to my new 7.2 "back up copy" a month or so ago and there were BIG changes, but I live in a big city with a lot of construction going on.

I deal with tons of the backups for the 07 up trucks if the copies are made correctly which is a hell of a process they are 100 percent effective at a fraction of the cost just my 2 cents

What is this "7.2"? I just got like 4.something. Am I way behind or something? I thought it was the most recent version out there? I have an 07 Yukon

I guess different yr model shave different versions. I can only speak for my 06 Denali when I say 7.2 is the latest version, and this was from the dealership
