AT4 Conversion to SLT Appearance?

I know this might sound a little odd but I prefer the look of the SLT over some parts of the AT4. Has anybody swapped the grill, chrome, etc. see on an AT4 for SLT parts. However I do like the idea of Magride. I can live without all, the other AT4 parts, would like but could live long term without.

I also like the optional 20 inch wheels on the SLT better than any other ones and find 20 inches is plenty for any of these trucks it gives a great balance of performance and comfort. I options these back in 2007 when I bought my Tahoe custom order. Pic for reference.

It sounds like you want to de-AT4 an AT4, the bumper, chrome, grille and wheels are what make it what it is. The cost of an AT4 is probably close to the price of a Denali, does the magna-ride available on the Denali?

Wouldn't it just be cheaper to sell the AT4 and buy an SLT? I didn't think the AT4 had MagRide. Only Air Suspension.

Well, I guess AT4 does have MagRide...at least the "specs" on GMC.com say so.

Truly like the look of the SLT but must admit dashboard of Denali is much nicer. In reality I need to be Pres. of GM to make “MY” Yukon. Lol

Well, base denali and find someone w/ an SLT to swap you grills?? Seems cheaper than de-AT4ing an AT4.

I've been trying to sell a SLT grill for 6 months with zero interest from anyone, you might be the first person I've seen that says they like them. I prefer the offroad look of the at4 so tried to beef up the look of our slt with a level kit, aggressive tires, black grill swap and chrome delete but hard to duplicate the front end appearance of the at4. Maybe we should swap front ends...

Like the tires, did you consider the alternative 20” wheels for SLT? I am a man of unique tastes.

Those are 20s with stock size tires. I wanted nothing to do with rubbing or trimming of any kind. There is a set of GM 22s I kinda like but not really interested in diminishing the ride quality that the 20s with tall sidewalls offer

I think these are just the standard wheels the SLT comes with. We bought this rig sight unseen (back when there was zero inventory on dealership lots) while it was in transport to a dealership near seattle and these are the wheels it showed up with. Both my wife and I disliked all the chrome on it but otherwise it had pretty much all the options we were looking for
