Anyone bought custom headlights?

I have seen a lot of discussion on people swapping out their factory bulbs with some conversions to HID and such, but curious if anyone has actually swapped out the whole headlight housing?

I saw a few nice ones but just wondering if anyone has done this already and what their thoughts were.

I bought this set of Spyder Halo smoked headlights for my Dodge Ram and love the look.

I'm looking for 2015-2017 Tahoes with Halos. I'd like to see how they look with Halos on them. I've seen them on camaros and older tahoes and they look great.

I recall someone posting on here in the past saying they did the swap but I don't think they ever replied back when everyone was asking for pictures or details on the swap process.

I'd be curious to try some of the various housings out there but a bit too nervous on spending the kind of cash to have a bunch of issues.

I had halos on my 2006 and the look is very cool. Could have just been the brand I went with but the halos weren't very bright, and openings behind each bulb were very small, so you couldn't swap out the halogen bulbs for LEDs in the low and high beams. Which is why I ended up buying depo Denali look a likes with black housings, and baked them open to add some led strips. And then I could put my vouke leds into the lows and highs. The ones you show look brighter than my halos were. But you won't know unless you try.

We just finished a set for a 2017 yukon the last week. I see some options for the Tahoe as well

factory retrofitted would be the best look.

I sell those aftermarket headlights at my work. They are designed more for looks than function we usually have customers complain they lost light output.... I took my stock headlights apart and painted them just to give it a different look

Now white out your grill and around fog lights etc....

Its at paint as we speak, going to get the window trim wrapped gloss black for now, 2/4 drop and gloss black 24s and it should look pretty decent i hope

Just installed these. The Suzuki came to us without any usable light and now it's like a damn UFO

We also own a dedicated website for just custom retrofits called www.hidretrofitkit.com

You can visit it and learn more about custom headlights. Not everybody is a pro when it comes to headlights
