Anybody painted GMC front emblem on a 15 Denali ?

Do they come off the front of the 2015? And if you take it off how's the grille look without it? My 2010 tahoe it unbolted.

It's got four clips... Detaches rather easily. Looks terrible w/ out the lettering. And yes, the letters have ridges, thus typical methods of painting are a PITA.

Ok, if I take it off is the grill complete under it or is there a gap/mounting holes? I know the 2014 had no mesh behind the GMC logo.

Ok, I looked today and yeah, they didn't continue the grille behind the lettering so it's gotta be there.

Easy to get the emblem off, just 5 clips.

Taped the entire thing the used my thumbnail and exacto to trim off the tape from the red part. Pretty easy. It is tougher getting it off after you paint it. I ripped one small corner on the M and had to do a little sharpie/black touch up paint on that spot. The next bug that splatters there might be the only one to ever notice but I doubt he'll be able to tell anyone.

I like the way it turned out.

4 coats plasti-dip. 2 coats plasti-glossifier.

$7 on eBay for vinyl. At least you know you can peel it lol I always get to the last coat of clear and get overly excited and smudge it.
