sorry for the long post, but this is so frustrating. ive looked at every kits and received conflicting info on each. seems like kmeloney is the only one to successfully lower the rear only on a 07+ WITH autoride. i was all set to order the springs he used until i read on belltechs site that they should not be used with autoride. their autoride kit is a 3 or 4" drop depending on if you use the spacer or not.

then on to the mcgaughys rear springs and shock relocators which drop 3" but i was told can be set to 2" by not bending the sensor rods as much. i called them to confirm before ordering and the guy told me that info is not true.

the pedders springs are supposed to lower 2.4 which is pretty close, but do not use shock extenders, which ive read are necessary, also i read that you may not be able to tow with their springs.

eibach kit lowers the rear 2", but no rear only kit for 07+, and the site says not to do the rear without the front.

it seems like mcgaughys may be my best bet, but if its too low is there a spacer i can use to lift it some like in the belltech kit.
any info you guys have is appreciated, thanks

With a 2" drop you may not need shock extenders at all, my Tahoe did not even need it with a Pedders 3" rear drop and it rode great.
DJM makes a rear 2" coil that you can get and tow with, then bend your Autoride sensors and be n your way.
Also running air helper bags with the 2" drop coil would be smart, you can get them from Airlift.
1Sikyukon just did a setup real similar to what I just said in the General section of the 07 Up models, just looke further down the first page.

i have the feeling that even at 2.5 it will still be too low in the rear, or appear that way. is there a larger spacer available for that kit?

not really. i like the stock height, plus my snow tires rub a lot already 275/60/20. do you think the belltech 1" spacer will work with mcgaughys 3" rear drop that would put me where i want to be.

Macky -- Why all the fuss? You read correctly. I had this kit installed with a spacer and WITH autoride. There's no problem. Why don't you just go with the Belltech kit?

Their website is pretty bad, so I don't know that I'd put too much stock in it. Also, if I recall correctly, they DO discuss altering the autoride sensors in the instructions, so they much believe the kit CAN be used with autoride.

All I know is that I've had no problem with the kit/autoride, and my installer had no problems installing it. Do what you want, but I think the Belltech rear-only kit will give you what you're looking for.
