here are some pics of my amps and wiring I just re-wired last week. I added 4-gauge wire for each amp with in line fuses, and added a set of Monster Cables for each amp as well. I can't believe what a difference the Monster Cables made. They seem to send a much cleaner signal, and everything just sounds more defined. No more interference noise either!! :rocking:

Hows that amp treat you? Ive been looking for a new amp for a while. Been a toss up between Soundstream and Hifonics.

Looks good and clean. A quality wiring job will definitely make everything sound better. Now if I may add some thing, solely for aesthetics, a little wire loom under the hood will do a good job of masking the install to the untrained or glancing eye, besides that it looks cleaner imo.

Thats a race radio. No I didn't do a writeup on it, but all I did is find a radio that fit, and used the stock CD player tray, and with double sided velcro the two together and that was it, and then ran the wiring for the power and antenna

its like a CB Radio but uses a totally different frequency set. 134.000Khz-174.990Khz I believe. Its what all the trophy trucks and off road vechiles use to communicate with their pits. I think the range goes a bit further too. I could easily talk to someone else with this same setup in their ride about 10-25miles away. Maybe even more, havent tried. This particular radio is a 50 watt. I also have a handheld that is a 5 watt and will go about 8-10 miles in a direct line of site.

Works for me. It also stores intermitten power so this helps out with your headlights not dimming while driving at night.
