this is semi-performance/audio question.... they have 05 oem 145 amp alternator on ebay. I'm just wondering is this going to help with the idle output if I swap this out. I thinking of getting this http://cgi.ebay.com/ebaymotors/ws/eBayISAPI.dll?ViewItem&item=200399130158&ssPageName=STRK:MEWAX:IT#ht_500wt_956 to help with amplifier draw from the subs and when I switch to e-fans

oh probably another important questions... is there any reason this wouldn't fit an 03? ie. mount different, belt size, connector difference

are you sure yours doesn't already have a 145? Mine does.
It really doesn't help at idle, just off idle mostly.

Are you needeing more amperage for aftermarket goodies?

yeah I want to run e-fans and be able to bump my subs without having to worry about walking cuz my voltage meter looks like a tac :)
