Aftermarket TPMS

Searched and couldn't find a clear answer.
Looking into getting a TPMS. Anyone running a system on an early NBS? I have a 2001 and suspect that an NBS system from the later years will not work. Are my only options aftermarket, like the following?

Were you ever able to find a TPMS? I am looking for one for a 2001 tahoe.

No, too much hassle for something that I'm not even sure will work right. I check my tires every couple weeks anyway.
