Found a CLEAN 95 suburban 4x2 for $3000. It has 147,000 miles. Thoughts on if it's worth it and how long these 5.7 engines last?

How good are the transmissions on these vehicles?

The transmission fluid is perfect. Which oddly enough is what worries me. I am nervous it was changed recently just for show when selling.

If the overall vehicle is clean and straight, then it makes sense that the fluids are squared away as well. Look up & down & all around---unless something jumps out or doesn't add up, buy it.

Ended up purchasing the suburban. There is absolutely no rust on this thing! The frame and everything looks like it's brand new!
