Add front fender antenna mast 20834630

Does anyone have step by step instructions on how to install / mount the factory antenna mast on a 2013?

My Tahoe has AM/FM antenna embedded in rear window and want to go back to an actual mast.

I am told the provision to add this is there. I need some guidance, step by step. Anyone?

The easiest way to do it also requires the most work. Easiest way is to remove the right fender. It's very hard to run the cable thru the cowl with the fender on. Once the cable is inside, it's just a matter of connecting it to the cable that connects to the radio, which is under the upper dash trim, on the right side.

If you need help removing the fender let me know, I can give you a step by step. It's not difficult, just takes a little time
