My 2004 Tahoe was only blowing hot air in the rear. So from research I figured it was the blend actuator. So I have the rear panel off and get the old actuator off and go to put the new one on but the shaft it is supposed to go on is in the body of the unit and I can’t get it out. Anyone have any step by step instructions to take the body apart so I can get to the shaft and put it back through?

they are known for breaking that shaft. I had to get a junkyard box for mine, haven't had a chance to replace it yet.

I’ve seen pictures of it done. You need to remove the entire assembly from the truck and split the housing. Your door is broken and it might be easier to buy the whole thing from a wrecked rig.
