AC Issue

Having problem with ac. Driving on highway for extended period of time ac stops working. I stop truck turn key off then on and ac works again. Any ideas? TIA.

what year? if you have the digital led control then it could be that, they are known to do exactly what you are describing, another thing could be low Freon, just a couple things to check out

I have a 2005 z71 it is the dual zone ac system. Does not have the digital display.

Well I took it to a shop and they told me that it was low on refrigerant. It was at 1.3 lbs when it should be 2.2 lbs. So obviously I have a leak I have to find. But for now system seems to be working ok.
