ac controlls

ok, ive relocated my ac controls to the center consol in order to mold my double din and make it look good the problem im having is it worked fine for a few then all of a sudden it went to hot by itself and its starting to do it more often any ideas?

ill get some pics of the whole build tmrw the ac isnt mounted properly yet just sittin in the center console

yes it took about 70 connectors and exactly 85 feet of 18gauge wire oh and about a 6 pack and 3 hours

i cut 2 small pieces of wood and screwed them to the unit using the tapped holes in the side of it then took the clips off the factory radio and screwed them to the wood so it mounts in the factory location i did have to cut some stuff out behind it to get it to sit far back enough.

i used apoxy and plexi glass not sure if i was gonna stick but it did

the first coat of duraglass . that stuff is great will be finishing in a day or 2

yes i did as most of them are done on the forum but bieng mine is a 4x4 and i use it like one from time to time the wasnt enough room for the 4x4 selector switch and ac an plus i may want to add a 14inch screen later.

Ah you use 18 gauge for every wire? include the fan and defroster circuits?
