Got 3" in the rear of the hoe- coil overs 1" - 2" spacers. Have 2" keys in the front. Sitting @ 40" in the rear and 39 in front. I want to put coil overs up front and that will level me out. Problem is when I went to get it aligned the guy told me I shouldn't go any higher up front cause I wouldn't have space between my crossmember and something else( not really sure what he's talking about). He said he could barely get a key in between them and if I went higher it would hit my crossmember and cause damage? Does anyone know what he's talking about and what I can do? I really want coil overs up front! Any help would be appreciated.

Rock krawler was the only company that made a coil over kit for the tahoe. I cant seem to find it at all. Check out cognitos uper control arms. They add more downward travel.

Here are the pics. Sorry He was talking about the upper control arms! Do you know of any reason why I just cant cut the stop sticking out from the bracket to allow more travel?

Just a little advice. I once had torsion bar keys on my 2003 Chevy pickup. I replaced both upper and lower ball joints due to these keys. It puts the joints at a terrible angle and destroys them. I also had to replace the driver CV joint due to the bad angle. I ended up removing the keys after spending so much money on replacement parts for my front end. Dont cut anything. Those bump stops are there for a reason. And from looking at your pictures your CV joints are at a bad angle as well.
