@mijohnst, you could always get crazy and build something like this. My brother in KC, Mo. owns this rig. Has been in 3 different off road magazines over the years.

The only thing it doesn't have is the barn doors. Any input on the pro's and con's of the barn doors compared to the hatch design?

That is a no on the Z71 I was going to look at. I talked to the guy. Has two dents at Right rear that the pic does not show, the drivers seat controls do not work, no forward and back, no tilt, no lumbar, the entire evap system is shot and needs replaced and he said the brakes need done all around. The last 5 years the rig was driven by his college age son and he freely admitted that the son banged it about 4 times and ran the crap out of it. Also, the sunroof sticks and has a "small leak".
