Last winter was a little harsh so this year I decided to join the 'winter mode' club. Found a set of OEM 17's on ebay and picked up a set of cheaper all season tires locally. I decided to try out Plastidip. I used 3 cans of dip and 1 can of glossifier. I also tried my luck at tinting my stock taillights with some VHT. They turned out good- a light smoke look was all that I was after. I did a lot of prep and wetsanding and the end product is pretty good. The Yukon sure looks different....anyways on to some pics...EnJoY :Handshake:

Looks good but I am not putting my stockers on until I see some snow falling. The I will swap mine out and wash and wax my wheels.

HaHa. Thanks. Thinking of doing a 2/3 in spring.

^lol. Same here. Winter??

Good job tho man, looks good.

Thanks alot. Your version of winter is when it gets into the low 50's ;)

Dang Floridians.......

Exactly.....although I wouldn't mind living there....

Looks good in "blackout" mode. I'm really digging the tail lights.

Thanks. The tails turned out just like I hoped I would. They accent 'wintermode' well.

Thanks. I was gonna wait but it already dipped into the low 20's and has been in the low 30's so I put the hose away and said 'F' it.

Whats winter? Lol

Texans. lol

Appreciate it

Looks great. How was it working with the glossifier? I've used plastidip many times, but never the gloss?

Tried putting my stock 17 inch rims back on for winter and front don't fit with the bell tech spindle...unless I'm missing something. Lol. Looks like ill be rocking the 22's for the winter.

In order for 17" rims to fit you have to use the half nut on the bottom ball joint and cut the remaining threads 1/8 inch after the half nut
