I'm sure that I over paid, but I tried every junk yard that I could find within 50 miles of here. There aren't many. Every one that's tried didn't have one but looked in their their locator and quoted several from various parts of the county ranging in price from $650/260k miles, to 1300/ reman. This was the cheapest that I found with 90k miles. Trust me, I looked for a "pick and go". I really wish that I know about "transfer cases.com". Clearly that would have been a better way to go.
Well, anyway, I had it done and it works great now. I missed a fair amount of duck hunting this winter because of not being able to get around withou 4wd.
