hmmm, that looks like a plan, i just have to look into it more as i have a bunch of cracks and creases, and the armrests are almost like alligator skin(hard and scaly like).. but none the less might save me a bunch of money.. thanks for the info

Damn, this whole thread is so awesome... I have been dreaming about how I want to do mine in a few years once the hoe isnt a dd. I want to completely gut and redo the interior on my hoe too. Everything looks really good for just some handy work!! And damn I want to find that center console!

damn kaiwren986 i see you have done your homework.. my original plan was to just hit up a salvage yard for some seats.. this is when i was back in miami and it would have only cost me about 400$ and are plentiful.. now that im not it seems like the seats im after are a bit sought after here. and really im only worried about the fronts, the back will have covers over them with car seats on top of that.. and 3rd row sits in my garage and isnt a priority.

well i think my seats are a little to trashed for dye... the driver seat is ripping around the seams at the bottom and has a gangsta lean to the right that is permanent. here are some pics of the seats. i know they are not the worst seats people have seen, but to dye them would be just half fasting it.

You could always swap in seats from any other vehicle. You'd just have to fab up some brackets to change from the seat bolts to your stock seat tracks. I have a buddy that put power Camaro seats in his OBS pickup, came out awesome.

I swapped some Grand Am buckets into my old S-10 Blazer, they had lumbar supports and side bolsters, and sat about 2" lower than the stock Blazer seats - worked out great, as I didn't have much headroom @ 6'7.

You could swap any buckets you want, as long as they aren't wider than the factory seats.

Find some heated and powered Corvette seats..... nice.... than make the brackets to place them at the height you want.

i thought about doing corvette seats but it will be really hard to match the back with them. right now it isnt a big deal because of the carseats .. im actually thinking since i cant find black leather seats im going to look for another color and just dye them.. ive been watching a set on ebay but they are already up to 400(+200 shipping) and the auction doesnt end till the 12th.
