ok guys here it, i think it looks good, a lot better than my stock, i read in a thread some where that someone had concerns about the stainless heating up and actually making it worse due to high air temp, i have not noticed this performance wise, i have better go than i did with my swiss cheese mod, hope you enjoy

damn that is cheap... wish I had some cash on hand to get one. :emotions122: oh well I'm sure they're not going to run out anytime soon. Also I think you can remove the cover under the intake filter to let in more air from under the truck.(possibly run a air funnel in to supply fresh air from outside.)

That link is for the whole CAI kit correct?
On the ebay auction it says "Winner of this auction will get
POLISHED ALUMINUM INTAKE PIPE"
doesn't say the complete kit?

Looks good on there. So better than the swizz cheese mod huh...
I have a brute force tube on mine w/ the stock box, b/c i lost the filter, but mine sounds like its sucking the box up w/ the swiss cheeze mod done. lol,. but really good find for so cheap..

I'd be interested in giving this a try. Will the '08 work on my '09?
I imagine it would, but want to be sure.

ya it comes as the complete kit, and ya its better than the swiss cheese mod, also i removed the plate under where it mounts so ya it gets lots of air from infront of the fender

Has anyone done the PVC pipe one? Just go to home depot and get the supplies then get a filter somewhere? I wonder what would work better, the stainless one here or plastic? Just thinking out loud

Good find! Thanks for the link.

Mine came today! My neighbor thought I was crazy when he saw me installing it at 9:30 at night!

I drove around the block after I installed it and it sounded pretty good. Will see how it is tomorrow when I do some more driving.

it sounds good not really throatier but you can tell its gettin more air and as for milage tough to say i got at same time as bb tune i went from roughly 630kms per tank to 740kms so very impressed with combo

glad you like it jeff

and i have felt my tube after use and its warm but no warmer than my plastic ever was, i am thinking of putting an elbow though and going down where that plate was and getting a little more forced/cold air

The link to ebay is no longer. Do you remeber the company's name?

Or does anyone else have experiance with a good priced CAI like this one?
