6" Lift to a 4" Lift?

Has anybody changed from having a 6" lift and dropping to a 4" lift? I was just curious and can it be done money wise?

Not happy with your 6" lift? IMO it can be done, just need to buy the 4" lift kit, remove 6" kit, then install 4" kit. However, did the 6" kit require serious modifications like trimming/welding the frame, attachment points, diff brakets?

I'm happy

I was just looking in the future on resale. They did a little trimming, just some plastic, nothing major. I would not think that you would have to buy a whole 4" kit to drop from a 6".

I am not familiar with BDS 6"; however, a lot of typical components like drop brackets, springs, shocks, A-arms/spindels (as applicable) will need to be changed out because they will be too long/not compatible with 4". Trying to buy these individual may be more expensive than a complete kit.

Buy 2" drop struts for front. Or if it came with a spacer get the one for a 4"
