After some dipstick evidently put water in my Tahoe
fuel tank in 2021, I called a guy to come drain the tank to get me up and running again. All was fine until I realized that my "Vortec" cover had disappeared. Not that big of a deal... fast forward to 2025, I just received a new Vortec cover, but I can only assume that when the guy that fixed my water in the tank issue in 2021, he must have thought the cover just popped up, and I guess he broke off the cover, hence why it disappeared. So I try to unscrew the old screw and it just spins... trying to figure out what to do to get back to square one. Has anyone dealt with this before?
