3M tape on lower window covers

Whats up everybody, i am new here and i was wondering how dependable is the 3m tape on the back of lower chrome mirror covers. I want the escalade folding mirrors but i have the SLE so i would have to spend a little more money so i am just going to do the mirror covers for now. But do they fly off easy and if the tape doesnt stick good is there a good adhesive that i could use?

if you clean the 2 surfaces good, you should have no problems. That stuff works really well. If you want to be really safe, get a adhesive primer and wipe it on before you tape it. Good Luck

The 3M tape is VERY strong. Like Brian said, just use a little rubbing alcohol and clean the surface good before you install. No worries with anythign 3M for the most part, thats what it is made for. Good luck!
