Personal taste I guess. She vetoed the Focus ST, GTI, and Mazda 3.

So far she only likes the Jeep and the Countryman.

Robbie would like for you to get the Jeep, preferably the four door

Back in the late 80s I had an 88 Wrangler V6 soft top. I took all the carpets out, pulled the drain plugs on the floor, and basically left it open all summer rain and all. Iirc it didn't seem to hurt the car any including the seats or dash. I assume it is still the same way with the new ones? I'd like to just get the cover for the front row between the windshield and roll bar and leave her in the open all summer.

Possibly with out all the doodads and black wheels. especially without the black wheels.
Maybe a nice gunmetal or silver color, Black fender flares. alil chrome here and there. I think they look awesome..

Great MPG, with the right engine its reliable as a rock.
Being 4 door. you can yell "get in ya smelly dags!" pop rear door open and they jump right on in..
Plenty of room in rear for the yums and they are cheap as **** to buy and mod..

They are not all that big either so it fills that "dont want another huge guzzler in the driveway" requirement..

Or Every early Jeep owners dream!

Basically the same. Except theres more to worry about with radio, cluster, etc. Remember - its a Chrysler product. That should pretty much say it all. Drain plugs all over the place though.

I think shaggy might own a jeep forum. If not, ask him and he will buy you one to post in.

That doesn't look like something you can "beat up" and take to the beach, haul dogs, etc.

Pinzgauer high mobility all terrain vehicle

25k or less id definatly get a pinzgauer hands down
once youve seen one in action youll never forget it
it is bar far one of the best off road vehicles out there out performs the HMMWV and the land rover defender
105 hp inline turbocharged direct injection volkswagon diesel engine
independant supension comes in a 4x4 or 6x6 model 4 speed auto or 5 speed man
it also has a 11,000lb on road towing capacity wich far exceeds the towing capacity of any tahoe or yukon 3900lb towing capacity off road
only downside to this amazing machine is it has a top speed of 68 mph
and these are easy to find in the US for under 25k

Yes, and you can also do all that in a Panamera, but my point is it doesn't look like a beater/car you don't really care much about.

I would get an old F100 and do it like they do at Gas Monkey. New drivetrain, and just shoot clear over the paint as is. An old Chevy with a 6.2L swap would be fun too.

I need a truck bed more than anything.

I think this answers your question as to what I would do:

I'm also looking for a 47-54 Chevy truck for an LS swap.

Except for the tire cover and the dog breed that looks about right.
