22" Denali Rims

I want to do put 22's on My 03 Denali at some point. I also want to be able to keep regular style tires on there. My question is this: has anybody done this, and do the stock 22's on the 09"s and newer models work on my truck too? WHat are my options if I want to keep bigger tires so all my gauges still work right and everything?

I'm confused by your post. Yes, they will bolt up to your '03. What do you mean by 'regular style tires'? Also, what do you mean by making your gauges still 'work right and everything'? Are you trying to be sure you don't have to recalibrate your speedo? If so, all you need to do is make sure you overall diameter of the wheel/tire package remains the same. This means a lower profile tire on the 22 as opposed to whatever you have stock on your rig right now....

Sorry about that I should have been more clear, I didn't want to have to put low pros on the truck cause I just assume they don't last as long. And yes I was also wondering about having to re-calibrate the speedometer.

Where is a good place to source rims and tires for low cost?

New 22" GM rims and GM spec tires don't come cheap, especially when you add the cost of tpms, caps, and lug nuts ... used ones pop up every once in a while on ebay/cl.

I just got mine new with all the above for $2100 and that's considered a steal.

But I don't think there will be need to recalibrate if you use spec tires ... I went from oem 18s to 24s and back to 22s and haven't noticed but tiny variations in readings.

I have GM accessory 20 inch wheels (CK628) with 305/50/20 on my Denali. The wheels were $368/each at the dealer. They are lighter and look better than the aftermarket 20 inch wheels it had before.

Like was stated before, scout ebay daily. You may be able to ****** a 'take off' set.

I am running the escalade 22's on mine and went from a stock 17 inch rim and the tires still have enough height to keep the ride good. I picked mine up brand new from the dealership with tires for $1800. I already had new sensors for them to put in though. Speedometer is off slightly according to my GPS but at 80 mph the speedometer reads about 78 so not a big deal. Don't sweat the small stuff, just make it look good!

Im starting to like these rims i used to not like them as much but now they loom good to me. But I wouldnt trade them for the 22 escalade ones

HAHA LOL, dont call the cops.

I searched for about 2 months everyday, Found a guy who had these, no picture, ad just said GM OEM 22", he was selling just the wheels for $600, I offered him $500 cash that day, he agreed. When I first saw them, I almost did not buy them, they were filthy, gubby, caked on brake dust. told him I would pass, he said gimme $400, I agreed.

Took em home, spent about one hour on each wheel with alot of polishing compound. One wheel had a very small curb rash mark, could not see it 3 feet away.

Tires also from craigslist, they were takeoff, probably had 10,000 miles on them, no patches or plugs

Nice job finding that deal!!! I never have understood how someone tries to sell something but has no pic and doesn't even have them cleaned up at all at time of sale. No wonder they can't sell them! I guarantee that if you wanted you could have turned around and sold those exact wheels you just bought for $800 after you'd cleaned them up and taken pics of them. Makes me wonder if some people are just too lazy
