Our dealer is not giving us many details, but we placed an order August 8, and were notified the build date was scheduled for the week of September 1 with an expected delivery before the end of the month. We're in the DFW area so transport from Arlington is negligible. Not sure how that jives with the September 8 start date everyone has been reporting though. The last GM we ordered vs purchased off the lot several years ago was built in Silao Mexico. From the time they claimed it was complete to the time it showed up to the dealer was nearly 5 months!
I asked our sales mgr how $2,595 is justified to transport from Arlington to Dallas, and it's the same $2,595 to Phila. (ours was $2195 and some were even lower in 2025). I think sales just makes up their answers without any regard to if it makes sense. I often wonder what would happen at work if I did that lol

Had the same question and was told it’s the same for everyone too… I’d go out of business making up nonsense like that.

Bought a German car one time and told the same thing. One shipping price for all unless picked up at assembly plant. Don’t think GM does that.

Has anyone gotten confirmation on a '26 AT4 standard order? Dealer told me two days ago they were on hold or not on the line yet so my order is on hold. I know the Denalis are rolling.

I paid less than that to get my ‘24 Yukon XL to Nova Scotia lol - $2,200 (CAD). I believe in Microeconomics we called this “price discrimination.”

IT is called Equalized Freight. Same price anywhere you live in continental US.

You will probably be hearing something if it is accepted. I ordered Yukon AT4 and dealer hasn't gotten it accepted yet. Denalis are already in some dealer lots and production did start Sept. 8.

Based on our timeline, you should get your vehicle in another 4 weeks. Our order got a TPW in 5 weeks, and then it actually got built one week earlier than the TPW. Took one week to ship to PA.

Nova Scotia is in Canada.
lol funny if anyone doesn't realize that....I've always wanted to visit but never have. Also interesting is I hear your area would be Habs fans, which I only learned 10 years ago through a coworker.

I wais actually hoping the Tahoe custom order experience would be like the only other car I've ordered before, a BMW. Not to burst anyone's bubble, although I think everyone has an idea already, the Chevy experience is not that. Euro delivery has existed since I was born (that wasn't yesterday), and the concept was that the vehicle costs less, and by picking it up in Europe, you get a free trip out of it, and a great experience. This doesn't seem to be a concept that exists with American cars, but, I do hear you can pick up your Corvette in KY. Maybe that is special, as is Ford and the Raptor experience. The Tahoe is not expensive enough to do all of the above (sarcastic lol)

lol yeah I think you’re right. Habs or Bruins. I think part of it is historic broadcasting as well. Probably easier to get tv from Montreal or Boston “back in the day”. Lots of leafs fans around too. I’d say those are the big 3!

But of course Crosby, MacKinnon, and Marchand are all from Halifax so you get a lot of those fans too.

You should visit - summer in Nova Scotia is beautiful. Warm weather but not oppressively hot, lots to see and do.

My order was accepted August 7th. Dealer told me just a minute ago my estimated production date is the week of 9/15. So perhaps I'll see it around the first of Roctober. He won't have pricing for me until he is invoiced.
My truck showed up and I picked it up Monday this week. Mostly happy with it. If I could fix one thing, it would be convert the second row to bench. The exec buckets don't fold. Color was the only option I was permitted.
