Just bought a '26 High Country Tahoe after owning many GM vehicles and still do, but i'm puzzled. Why did GM skimp on the wake up animation for the gauge cluster / infotainment screens when opening the door? Bought my son a 26 Colorado on the same day. The Colorado has a cool wake up animation on the screen.

Am I missing something?

Go into the infotainment settings. I believe there’s an option for the speed. If you’re adventurous go to setting and tap “about” 7 times quickly to see some backend features. Screen speed it one of them.

Interesting.

I’ve always felt the wake up screen animation in my 2024 Tahoe is useless.
