On Thankgiving day I was driving. After about an hour, the audio screen just went blank and there was no sound. I was on the freeway so couldn't turn the car off and on right away. In about 5 minutes it came back on by itself without me doing anything, but all the things I had selected...pandora, waze, etc were not on. It came back on in Android mode instead of Carplay.

It just did this once. Has anyone else seen this? Is it possible it was getting a software push? I would take it to the dealer but I'm sure they would say can't reproduce it.

Thoughts?

2025 Tahoe Z71. Have had multiple problems with the infotainment. Every few weeks it will start flashing blank white screens on the driver display. It also will stop allowing CarPlay connections.

Last time I was at the dealer for an oil change they said I had to make a special diagnostic appt. Going in next Tues. It’s super frustrating and has pissed off the wife, so I have to figure out how to get this fixed.

It has the most recent software and has been completely reset through OnStar. I don’t know what else I can do.

It's starting to happen more often. It will start changing scale rapidly, switch from carplay to android ( I don't have an android phone) and occasionally change the radio station. I'll take back to the dealer after the 1st of year. I can hear it now...we couldn't replicate it so no trouble found.

I’m worried I’ll get the same response. Luckily I have videos and pictures of screen blanking out. Not sure that will help with the diagnosis, but it’s at least proof of the problem.

Ultimately I’m super concerned they’re going to tell me there’s nothing they can do. My wife is going to lose her mind (and make my life rough) if they can’t fix this.
