I decided to repot this because my first post appears to be lost.
“First World problem. I use about 6 satellite stations and flip through them using the switch on the steering column. One of the stations I listened to was replaced (same Channel Number) by a genre I do not like to listen to. Easy problem to solve! Go to settings then Audio hit button in upper right of screen and you can organize favorites. Have used this in the past no problem. Now go in delete station everything is fine until you turn off car and then turn back on and chanel reappears.
Have tried this 4 or 5 times even doing the reset (Hold down audio mute button until display resets) but channel comes back.
Any ideas other than learn to listen to PitBull channel?”
Since posting this I have gone into organize favorites and deleted all. All were deleted and there were no favorites shown. Disconnected car battery waited about 20 minutes and when reconnected all were deleted except channel 15 (PitNull)was still shown as a favorite.
In the past I have deleted channels and now any channel I delete stays deleted except 15.
Thanks in advance if anyone knows the newer.

Ok I finally believe I have fixed this. I had to reset Infotainment System to Factory Settings. Then you have to go through setting up everything like when you first got vehicle. Took about 20 minutes but seems to have worked.

I think I’m now having this same exact issue (not Pitbull, but a different SiriusXM station that I don’t want to have to skip through every time). I’m on the fence - do I live with it, or try the reset like you did? Not really excited about having to go in and redo everything as far as settings. We’ll see.

Why not just program a station over it. Tune to the new station, hold the preset for 2-3 seconds, it’s re-programmed to a new choice

That would seem to work but then the PitBull channel would pop up in a new spot. I even tried filling every preset but if you deleted any preset slot PitBull appeared.

Just noticed that I’ve got the Pitbull Bug too. Wtf?

I read a thread on Reddit about this (it’s happened to a lot of people’s GM trucks it seems), and some folks seem to think that XM is promoting the station. They think it should go away in a few weeks. Not sure about any of that, but it’s pretty silly and annoying, whatever the case.

I was wondering if it could be something like that. For me, it’s channel 79, which seems to be kind of a temporary, featured artist station. So, I guess it would make sense that Sirius XM would promote it. Kind of crazy though if they/GM make it to where you can’t delete it from favorites. Oh well.
