After you posted this I went and looked... the heated steering wheel button is mixed in with the A/C buttons on the center stack. Weird place to put it but at least it has itI was looking at photos on the GMC website and noticed the spot where the heated steering wheel button is located has been replaced by what I assume to be the Supercruise activation button. Wonder if you don’t get a heated steering wheel with Supercruise. That would suck in the North where I live as I’m SOOO spoiled by having a heated steering wheel (in the past 5 consecutive vehicles I’ve owned)!
Its weird, they rearranged a few buttons in that climate control area. They replaced the "AC" button with the heated steering wheel button, and they removed the "Sync" button on the passenger side temp controls with "AC" which is a really odd place for that one. After you posted this I went and looked... the heated steering wheel button is mixed in with the A/C buttons on the center stack. Thanks to you both: damn eagle eyes!!!Its weird, they rearranged a few buttons in that climate control area. I also cant tell if its the picture, or if they changed the angle of this area too. it looks 'steeper'
So, they scrapped the sync button? Its weird, they rearranged a few buttons in that climate control area. They replaced the "AC" button with the heated steering wheel button, and they removed the "Sync" button on the passenger side temp controls with "AC" which is a really odd place for that one.

This is probably pretty accurate...but I do wonder if they might give these a preferential just to get more than 5 on the street? It will all be on constraint anyways after they make 5 of’em.
Yet someone there's miraculously no chip shortage for this 2023 Ultimate.I’m annoyed that I ordered a 22 Yukon Denali with the ultimate package, and since there is such a chip shortage, I had to get a premier and piecemeal features to get close to the ultimate. Couldn’t even get the motorized center console or rear media. I also wished that it came with massage seats. I just picked up my vehicle 3 weeks ago, and now the vehicle I actually wanted all along is about to be released.
…or, just put it back on the center arm rest where it used to be in the ‘14-19 Sierras. They already have a phone cutout (which is stupidly a little small for bigger phones like the iPhone pro max). They seem to want you to put your phone there anyway…There are aftermarket options that were posted on this forum but are super intense for me.The wireless phone design is dumb. That compartment will be littered with odds and ends and I'll have to clear it out to get my phone in there. They should have made a vertical slot to put the wireless phone charging like in the escalade.
The Sierra 1500 Ultimate is $83,000 if that tells you anything.
