2021 Tahoe Mirror Caps

Has anyone successfully changed mirror caps or know whats involved?

Im changing my chrome caps to black-They look like they pop if if pryed but I dont want to break any tabs. TIA

The mirror itself? Or the mirror cap?

Well either or. I 99% sure I need to pull the mirror off to access the clips and the 1 screw I think is there so that I can swap the painted cap for the black one I have.

I have seen them but got discouraged when I saw the Y/T video on removing the OEM caps…..…..traded for the Z71 instead….I showed them didn’t I?

I had mine done changed to black but the dealer did it for me and I didn’t watch how they did it.

Can anyone with the black mirror caps share a picture of them on the vehicle?

I'm going to have PPF applied and am debating whether to swap the chrome mirror caps out on my suburban premiere beforehand as they'll put the film over the mirror caps.
