2021 remote start on yukon

I use the remote start. If I let the time expire before getting in the vehicle - the engine turns off but then the vehicle alarm goes off like someone tried to break in the vehicle. Anyone else have this happen.

if it is all stock then it might just need a software update I would take it to the dealer or I guess you might have the option to do it over wifi, maybe go the gm website tomorrow and call them and maybe they can send a update for you.
