I am thinking about getting a set of Blizzaks for winter use and want some steelies to mount them on. Seems like some ‘cop wheels’ would be a great choice. Does anyone know the PN for them?? TIA

Looked on GMPartGiant for a 2021 2wd Tahoe, and the only steel wheel listed is in the 20" diameter. I didn't see any 18" or 22" steelies but I could have missed it. Some sites list it as a spare, but the GM site shows both F&R placement.

‘21 and ‘22 tahoe ppv/ssv’s are 20 in be wheels. You may want to find 15-20 tahoe 17 steelies.

You’ll also pay well over 2k$ for a set of 20’s with tires.

I'm wondering if 17s would fit over the calipers on a '21+. Just curiosity on my part.

If you're wondering about the 17s over the Tahoe PPV brembos, no. The brembo discs are 16" which is why GM went with 20" steelies and does not offer any additional wheel types on the PPVs due to nothing else fitting. The SSVs do NOT get the brembos so they are offered standard with 18" aluminum wheels from the LS/LT and then can upgrade to a 20" like the Z71.

Does anyone know what the factory tire brand, model, and size is for the PPV?

Firestone Firehawk Pursuits 275/55R20

Seems like those are out of stock (or no longer made) based on TireRack and DiscountTire inventory.

I think the Explorer Police Interceptor Utility uses the Goodyear Eagle Enforcer but it's also available in tire size 275/55/20.

The stock tire on the 21 and PPV Tahoe is a 275/55r20 Firestone Firehawk police. We have already wore those out on our 21's and replaced them with a Goodyear. I can not recall the model but I will try and write it down when I go back to work on Monday. I can take a ciuple of pics then also.

Ok the part number for the 21+ tahoe ppv steel wheel is 84947815 list price is $426.02.

The ppv tire that came on our tahoes is a 275/55r20 Firestone Firehawk Pursuit. As they wear out we replace with a Goodyear Eagle Sport. This is the tire my goodyear rep sells all of the local pd agencies for the tahoes.

It doesn't even seem like someone could buy the Firestone Firehawk Pursuit in the retail market if they wanted to. It's not listed on TireRack.

If you want the ppv tire, I would look at the Goodyear not the Firestone anyway. We haven't gotten any good wear life out of the Firestones. 18k to 24k is about all we get out of them. We dont have any data on goodyear life yet. So far, prety good.

I'll chime in a bit. I ran Firestone Winterforce on the 1500 XL - excellent product. I did run them in 265/70/17 for my needs, but they are a good product
