I recently had the torque converter replaced. The next day I started hearing this odd and frightful whizzing sound. Sound only occurs when I’m decelerating. It seems related to the transmission, but I have no idea. I’m going to take it back to the transmission shop, but curious if you guys could enlighten me on what you think it could be. I don’t want the shop saying it has nothing to do with their work.
