Wow! If you have the ability to pull the heads get them to a machine shop, you can have them rebuilt. Get yourself a good cam and do an AFM delete. You won't have near $6K into it. Do a search on here as there are several posts about people who have had the same issue and replaced the problem.
Sorry I’m not an engine specialist so I’m not savvy on the terminology. I’m assuming the heads , house the valves and everything else to complete this work and I can just have them done at a ship. Then put them back in after I do the cam? If so I assume that would add a considerable expense. I can do all the work myself it might take a lot longer but I have the time. I am more than capable but it will be new to me. So I’m not exactly sure what’s all involved until I do the research. Thanks for the reply.

I am going to be ordering the parts as soon as I figure out everything I need. I will bring doing the work in my garage for the next month. I just need to write down all the parts I need and order them from the factory. I will be putting it back together to factory specs. I don’t really want to mess with anything else. Since i assume if I put it back to factory specs I won’t need to do anything with the computer, such as deleting anything or re- learning anything. I’m assuming I can teach disconnect the battery, do all the work, plug the battery back in and start it up?
