Sorry I’m not an engine specialist so I’m not savvy on the terminology. I’m assuming the heads , house the valves and everything else to complete this work and I can just have them done at a ship. Then put them back in after I do the cam? If so I assume that would add a considerable expense. I can do all the work myself it might take a lot longer but I have the time. I am more than capable but it will be new to me. So I’m not exactly sure what’s all involved until I do the research. Thanks for the reply.Wow! If you have the ability to pull the heads get them to a machine shop, you can have them rebuilt. Get yourself a good cam and do an AFM delete. You won't have near $6K into it. Do a search on here as there are several posts about people who have had the same issue and replaced the problem.
