I have a 2019 Z70 Suburban, bought it in 2021. The 2nd row seats squeak when no one sits there. I have tried, thought it was the seat itself squeaking on the floor holder, but it isn’t those. If I lay the seats forward, (collapse the back of the seat), the noise stops. The other night I had my wife drive and crawled in the 2nd row. It sounds like it is coming from inside the upper part of the seat. Gently holding the headrest, makes it go away.
I thought about moving the headrests, but found out they don’t move. Anyone else see this noise?
