A few pictures of my audio install and custom box build. It's not finished yet. I will be running 2 sundown audio 12 x3's and the amp in the picture. I will post more pictures when everything is finished on Saturday.

It looks like you are building a ported subwoofer box. If yes, what are you using for tuning specs for the port?

The audio shop is building everything. I amm not building it myself. I know they built it to specs for the sundown X3's. They required a lot more air space than the box i originally wanted

I am not very good with car audio stuff. Could anyone recommend a good quality amp that will really push these 2 new 12's i bought. They are sundown audio X-12 V.3 rated at 2000W RMS each. They are 2 Ohm subs. I am wanting to push the most power i can to these. The amp I currently have is a 1000w RMS @ 1 ohm. Can you even wire 2 12" 2 ohm DVC speakers for a 1 ohm load? I believe the amp i currently have is really underpowered for these new subs i have. Since i am running 2 speakers it would split that 1000w between the 2 making them 500w each if it is even possible to run these subs at a 1ohm load

You could wire each speaker's dual inputs in parallel (creating a 1 ohm speaker), and then wire the 2 speakers in series (creating a 2 ohm speaker system).

What is the rating of the main fuse on the amp?

Call me cliche but i found that you can pull excellent power from a Skar Skv-2 2500 Watt monoblock. It is one ohm stable and comes with an amp remote as well. I have a 2017 PPV tahoe with a skar 15” evl subwoofer wired to a Skar 2000Watt Monoblock amp which i tucked into the driver side panel in the back. Along with it I installed a Super compact Skar 4-channel amp to run two 4” tweeters in the rear pillars since my tahoe diddnt have any back there. Also connected to the 4 channel compact amp is two 5.25” midrange coaxial speakers which i installed on each side of the 3rd row. They are installed into the plastic itself on each side and all together the system is the best cost effective method i have found to really spice up the I03 system that the PPV sadly comes with. Best of luck man!
