2016 Yukon XL multiple issues

Wife’s XL SLT yesterday suddenly has a check engine light, aux fan running fast & loud, AC blowing hot and outside temp gauge indicating 37F when it’s well into the 80’s. The aux fan continues to run 5-10 minutes after vehicle is turned off. Vehicle has about 70K on it. Any ideas on what the heck is happening here? Thx

By Aux fan, are you referring to the electric fan under the hood or the rear a/c fan?

Get a scan tool and see what the code is that’s causing the SEL light.

Have someone check to see what your refrigerant pressure is doing.

The loud fan is behind grill of vehicle. Like radiator fan.

Ok.

That is an electric fan and will sometimes run for a period of time after the vehicle is shut off to continue to try and cool things down. Many times, if your A/C refrigerant is over temp, it will kick into high gear so it may be indicating that you have an issue and coupled with the fact that you’re getting warm/hot air, I’d have it checked out.
