This truck has been having idling issues and now is just shutting off. Today my wife drove this truck to FL and while waiting for my daughter at a doctor's appointment the truck just shutdown completely without warning. She is sitting there in park at idle with AC running and the truck just turned completely off. Wait 5 minutes or so and start it back up and then sitting there it shuts down again. No stumbling or rough idle but completely shuts off like flicking a switch off. Things I have replaced with new parts over the last 2wks trying to resolve the problems:
New OEM fuel pump
New MAF sensor
New throttle body
New crank shaft sensor
New oil and filter change

Truck in park idling is 500 RPM. None of the problems showed check engine lights or DTC's.
What would cause this problem?

An internally bad negative battery cable or a loose connector at one of the battery terminals would do it. My 2012 died on me pulling into traffic hauling a trailer once because the dealer forgot to tighten down the negative battery terminal after doing the airbag recall. After a few minutes of panic drifting to safety, I popped the hood and found the problem within .7 seconds.

I really hate newer vehicles with all the electronic crap. A bunch of garbage like EVAP that's not needed but causes many problems. Replace a power steering pump and reservoir that costs less than $100 to fix, with an electronic power steering unit that costs $2000 just for the part. How about a windshield that's a few hundred dollars for a windshield that's $1000 because it has all the electronic stuff like heads up display or other things that have to be calibrated.
