Hello people.

Hey, does anyone know the diameter of the pipes before they join to a single?

The single looks like a 3" (?) pipe.

Anyone know the diameter on the smaller pipes?

Thank you.

If the Y-Pipe is anything like the 1500 6.2s in the same year, they are 3.5" in diameter and have 3 cats. The older style was 2.5" and 2 cats for 6.2 motors.

What size engine do you have? 6.0?

IIRC, my 2014 5.3 Y-pipe tubes were 2.5" from the manifolds to the merge, then like 3.5" to the rear/passive catalytic converter, then necked-down to 2.75" single tube back to the tailpipe. I can try to measure the leftover scrap section the next time I'm at the old house where it's sitting in a pile destined for a dumpster.

The 6.0 manifolds and cut tubes were the same as the 5.3, FYI. I'm 99.9% confident they are all 2.5" before they merge into the 2 >1 collector.
