Hey guys,
So the battery is testing good, alternator output is high at 14.9 to 15.. intermittent easy fast start( 10 times) followed by the dreaded click. Let of ignition wait a few seconds and slow crank or even a mid speed crank of the starter get it running. I’m leaning to starter or possible bad cable to it. Once running, interior lights will flicker. Believe due to high output on alternator.
Can ya give me your run down on the issues?

Why do these trucks change so high?

Anyway, to the OP check that other thread there's a guy having a similar issue. Seems like when this occurs in these trucks it's either loose or corroded battery cables, usually the negative cable from what I'm gathering.

Interestingly, I had the same issue in my 1999 Yukon and my 2016 Suburban (which I never really resolved it just kind of went away) and just this morning my 2012 Tahoe hinted that I'm going to have to deal with it again.

Must be a real bad GM thing.
