I just realized the 2011 Tahoe has the AM/FM antenna in the back right glass interweaved through the whole window.
I have several questions if anyone has a clue (all three questions are independent of one another.)
1) Can you install a glass mount two-way radio antenna on that window or will the factory radio get overloaded when you transmit on the CB or 800MHZ radio, etc? (Yes, I know I could install it on the other side, but I already plan to use another antenna on the other side for an additional radio?)
2) Has anyone used one of those inline coax splitters on this factory window antenna to add in a police scanner and how does the reception do?
3) Assuming you are not using metallic film, can you tint the window without degredation to the factory AM/FM antenna?
