New to the forum as I no longer own my 2005 yukon. I'm looking at a 2010 and wondered how the HID aftermarket kits work with the DRL's? Don't he yukons have a dual filament bulb? for low and hi? I know there are bixenon bulbs but are they good? also, more important is what about the DRL's ? Do they run the HID's all the time? If i'm not mistaken don't the new yuks have the headlights at a low wattage for DRL's?

thanks for any help. Hopefully i'll be an owner again in a few weeks.

To prevent any issues I removed my DRL fuse before installing the HID's.

Welcome to the forum, BTW!

Awesome..that is kinda what I expected. Any issues melting the lower fog housings? I had upgraded my 05 yuk with 6000K and they were great..full puddle lights and running board led's also...but the fog light upgraded lasted only about 6 months. I noticed they housing getting melted...and the bulbs just were too hot. That aside I loved the HID look and light...
Thanks!
