Im relatively new around here, i have been more of a lurker just to learn a few things. At any rate this is the progress of my truck up to this date and the future plans. Im not even sure if this is the right section....here goes..

The day i got it.

Pickups Plus here in columbus has been the shop that i frequent/bother if i need anything. They are great guys. Here is a pic after they had in the shop. I had an idea in my head and the parts just needed to be ordered. They did the tint, HID hi/lo and the wheels.

This is how it sits currently. I debaged everything but the front grill, took the moldings off and the roof rack.

The next on the list is the 2-3/4 kit (next week), painted white handles, the roof will get wrapped in the same color black as the wheels, and the black plastic part behind the back window will get painted white to match the body. Let me know what you guys think. Im going for a very clean, sleek, non busy look.

I plan on keepin them for winter. The snow usually doesn't get horrible here, but deff don't wanna be on 24's in it.

Looks good what kind of wheels do u have? I cant see them clearly in the pic.

They are 24" U2-55's. My iPhone camera for some reason doesn't want to brighten them up haha

looks good! If you decide to de-chrome and go black and white only, i'll buy your running boards from you :)

I'm just not sure about some of you guys and girls! If you park the "before" and "after" on a dealership lot, I wouldn't even give the "after" a thought. The "before" would go home with me. I either have no class or I am showing my age. :driver:

Wouldn't it have been easier and cheaper to buy an sle, slap on black rims and upgrade some interior features instead of buying a beautiful denali and pay extra to de-denali it?

You wouldn't get the 6.2L and awd drive with anything lower than a Denali. That would be my best guess as to why he chose the Denali. I have been wrong once in my life though I rarely admit it. :hands:

That's a very good point ... but man that's a lotta dough for an extra 900cc.

Anyhoot, I actually like the look and look forward to seeing it finished, I just wish a denali didn't have to suffer for it. :)

I went with the denali for the AWD and 6.2l plus i like knowing its a denali by just the steering wheel emblem. Kinda of under the radar. kind of..... haha

The plan is to have everything that is black and chrome, painted to white. Just little bits at a time. I think the best think to do would be to trade someone my chrome handles for their base yukon white ones. Im assuming they would fit.

What do you guy think about the black wrapped roof? I wanna wrap it because if i hate it, i can take it off. I have seen some E55 AMG's like that and thought it would be cool to try.
