I have my 2007 Tahoe 3/4 from NorCal and it doesn’t have the drop brackets for the lower rear control arms. Is this a have to have?

If you plan on running factory length shocks in the rear it is. Otherwise you will want to run a shorter length shock to account for the amount of drop. That way you are staying in the "performance limits" of the shock and not at the max end of compression.

Gmoney15, I just picked up a 2013 Tahoe and wanting to do a similar lowering that you did. Could you tell me what parts you used to lower it? Thanks, Rick
